In the fall of 2009, SKWC launched a pilot project with the Nevada State Health Division to address safe sleep issues and SIDS prevention in Nevada. In January 2010, SKWC became the lead agency in Nevada for the Cribs for Kids® program, a national safe-sleep education program for families. The C4K® program believes every family deserves to receive clear, consistent, repetitive, and culturally appropriate information regarding a safe-sleep environment for their baby.
